Pau had its heyday at the beginning of the 19th century amongst English high society, served special breakfasts!
• Enthusiasts of continental breakfasts will appreciate the cofffee coming from our friend coffee roaster in Pau and the choice of breads, pastries and locally made regional jams.
• For the typical English breakfast we will give you the pleasure of choosing from our extensive collections of teas, and fried eggs with locally produced bacon.
These will be supplemented with orange juice and yoghurts.
With reservations 24 hours in advance we propose to share our evening meal around our monastry table or outside on the terrace.
Lovers of slow cooked food will especially enjoy the local treats:
• duckling and foie gras
• the famous « Garbure béarnaise »
• local regional products from Nay Market
… all accompanied with very good local wines like Jurançon and others from Béarn !
